In 2026, YOBOS took audiences on the road to Hadestown with our production of Hadestown: Teen Edition.

This ambitious and atmospheric production brought together a large company of talented young performers, supported by a dedicated crew, band and production team. With two brilliant casts, the Lyre Cast and the Lantern Cast, the production gave even more young people the opportunity to take on leading roles and bring this powerful story to life.

Our vision for Hadestown placed the story in and around an abandoned railway station, blending the world of myth with a gritty, industrial setting. Through live music, movement, storytelling and striking visuals, the production explored love, hope, power, sacrifice and the courage it takes to keep going, even when the road ahead is uncertain.

The response from audiences was overwhelming, with the cast and crew receiving incredible feedback across the performance weekend. Hadestown became a truly special chapter in YOBOS’ story, and one we are incredibly proud of.
